Custom Built-Ins & Shelving

Custom built-ins in Nashville are our specialty — floor-to-ceiling bookcases, fireplace surrounds, window seats with storage, and mudroom cubbies, all built and scribed to fit your actual walls, not a stock cabinet forced into a gap. We work in solid poplar, oak, and maple with painted or stained finishes to match existing trim, and every unit is built in place or shop-built and fit on install day so seams stay tight for decades.

Trim & Crown Molding

Trim carpentry in Franklin and the surrounding suburbs is one of the fastest ways to upgrade a room, and it's also the easiest place for a rushed crew to leave gaps and caulk lines behind. We hand-cope inside corners on crown molding, back-bevel baseboards for tight-to-floor fit, and match existing profiles in older Nashville homes so new trim disappears into the old.

Decks & Pergolas

We design and build decks and pergolas across Williamson and Rutherford counties in cedar, pressure-treated pine, and low-maintenance composite decking, all framed to current Tennessee residential code with properly flashed ledger boards and footings poured below frost depth. Pergolas are built to handle Middle Tennessee's wind and ice loads, not just look good on install day.

Cabinet Installation

Cabinet installation in Nashville kitchens and baths done right means shimmed-level boxes, plumb face frames, and drawers that glide the same on day one and year ten. We install both custom shop-built cabinetry and prefabricated cabinet lines, scribe end panels to uneven walls, and handle the trim, crown, and toe-kick detailing that makes a cabinet run look built-in rather than dropped in place.

Door Installation & Hanging

A door that sticks, drops, or won't latch is almost always a hanging problem, not a hardware problem. We install and re-hang interior and exterior doors throughout the Nashville metro, cutting jambs plumb and square, mortising hinges by hand, and setting reveals evenly so the door swings free and seals tight — from a single bedroom door to a full-house door package on new construction.

Framing Repair & Structural Carpentry

Sagging floors, bouncy stairs, water-damaged sills, and old additions with undersized headers are common in Nashville's older housing stock. We diagnose the actual structural cause — not just sister a joist and hope — and rebuild framing to current code with proper load paths, sistered or replaced members, and correct fastening, often coordinating with a structural engineer on larger repairs.

Stair Railings & Balustrades

Stair railings and balustrades get more daily wear than almost anything else in a house, so we build them from hardwoods that hold up — oak, maple, and walnut — with mortised newel posts and evenly spaced balusters that meet Tennessee residential code spacing requirements. Whether you need a full staircase rebuild or a simple deck railing, every rail leaves our shop rock-solid, not wobbly.
